Noah has been in care with us for a very long time. This beautiful boy is continually overlooked as he is FIV positive. Noah joined the Purrs family after being found as a stray and taken into a local vet.
Cats with FIV are often overlooked due to misconceptions about their condition. They are also routinely PTS by councils and certain shelters. FIV is an autoimmune disorder and recent studies have estimated that between 9% – 16% of cats in Australia are infected. Cats with FIV have a harder time fighting off diseases than unaffected cats due to a less-effective immune system. They contract the disease through deep bite wounds and it cannot be transmitted to humans or other pets, just cats. Studies have found that FIV+ cats often outlive their FIV- friends, or at the very least, live just as long.
We are looking for a special home for Noah, with a family that understands his needs and will cherish him all the same. Noah will need an indoor home so he cannot spread the disease through fighting, is away from other sick cats and to avoid viruses, bacteria or other diseases found outside.
Here at Purrs we believe Noah deserves wonderful home. If kept indoors, fed good food and taken to the vet at the first sign of illness there is no reason he won’t be as healthy or live as long as any other cat here at Purrs.
He is a 3 year old handsome boy who loves to play but also likes company and to sit with you on the couch. He has a beautiful personality, set in his ways, is the boss of the house and loves pats under the chin. He would be absolutely perfect for some empty nesters who would like a cat for company.
Noah has been microchipped, vaccinated and desexed and his adoption fee is $160.
Fleur is our blossoming flower. She came to us as an extremely scared kitten but with time, patience, a lot of love & affection she is a completely different girl. Fleur and her siblings were rescued off the streets. A kind lady has taken in their mother and the kittens joined the Purrs family. Fleur will need a family or someone that will give her a lot time & plenty of TLC & they too will be rewarded with her extra special love, cuddles & loud purring in return. Everyday this beautiful little girl surprises us with her growing personality.
Muss Fleur has an adoption fee of $180 and she’s 4.5 months old. She has been microchipped, vaccinated and desexed and is ready to find her forever home.

Lilly Anne was being fed by the neighbor of a hoarder who left her behind after being evicted. When she joined the Purrs family we discovered she had cancer on her ears and head and she has since had an operation to have it removed. This poor girl has had a very rough life and we are now looking for someone to spoil her rotten 😻
This beautiful white lady is the smoochiest cat you will ever find. She loves human contact and loves body scratches on her head, back, tummy. She will play with toys as well as curl up on your knee. She responds when you talk to her and loves to be with her humans. Due to her colour she will need a strictly indoor only home.
Lily Anne is in foster carer with Axl and they get along great so she would be fine in a home with a friendly male cat. She is also in care with a dog and they get along fine.
Please send us a message if you would like to meet Lily Anne!
